Instructions to crochet openwork pattern
Foundation chain: multiples 4+2.
Row 1: 4 ch, 1 dc into 1st ch, (2 dc shell with ch 1 space made), *2 dc shell with ch 1 space into next dc, rep from * to the end, turn.
Row 2: sl st in ch, 6 ch (cost as 1 dc + 3 ch) into ch, 2 dc cluster into 2 ch of beg ch 6, 2 dc tog into ch, * 3 ch, 2 dc cluster into 2 ch of beg ch 6, 2 dc tog into ch, rep from * to the end, turn.
Row 3: sl st in arch, 4 ch, 1 dc into same arch (2 dc shell with ch 1 space made), *2 dc shell with ch 1 space into next arch, rep from * to the end, turn.
Repeat rows 2-3 until you have reached your desired length.
