Vintage afghan pattern for crocheting
This simple crochet tutorial will help you to learn how to crochet the vintage afghan.

Instructions to crochet afghan pattern
Foundation chain: multiples of 28 + 1.
Row 2: *4 sc, 3 sc into same st, 4 sc, rep from * to the end, turn.
Row 3: *skip 1 sc, 4 sc, 3 sc into same st, 4 sc, rep from * to the end, turn.
Row 4: *skip 1 sc, 4 sc, 3 sc into same st, 4 sc, rep from * to the end, turn.
Row 5: sl st into the next 3 st (back loop only), 6 ch (counts as tr trc), 2 tr trc, 3 tr trc into same st, 3 tr trc, skip 2 st, *skip 2 st, 3 tr trc, 3 tr trc into same st, 3 tr trc, skip 2 st, rep from * to the end, turn.
Repeat rows 2 – 5 until you have reached your desired length.

hdc – half double crochet
tr trc – treble treble crochet
